The Center offers a wide variety of workshops and classes in handicrafts, mechanics, jewelry making, carpentry, metalwork, sculpture with various materials, painting, music, and more.
There are different levels tailored to the skills and learning pace of each participant. We also provide individual guidance when needed.
The workshops are open Sunday to Friday during morning and midday hours, and Sunday to Thursday also in the afternoons. Morning and midday sessions focus on at-risk youth and war-injured veterans, while afternoons and evenings are open to the broader public.
Our educational staff consists of skilled artists and craftsmen who bring years of experience and knowledge to educate the next generation.
First and foremost, hands-on experience and learning in planning, designing, material processing, and creating complete products.
Amlaniya is a non-profit organization. Salaries are paid only to administrative staff and employees of the Center.
Workshops for at-risk youth and war-injured veterans are funded by the Ministry of Welfare or the Ministry of Defense. Some workshops run year-round, while others are designed for specific learning goals or tailored to a particular group or individual.
Youth at risk are registered through Shira Weinberger, the at-risk youth coordinator at the Upper Galilee Regional Council. Veterans are referred by the Tiberias District of the Rehabilitation Department.
Workshops for at-risk youth and war-injured veterans are state-subsidized. Afternoon classes for the broader public require payment by the participant, based on the specific course or workshop registered in advance.
